Robert J. Fox
Age 93, of Canton died Thursday, May 5, 2016 in his home following an extended illness. Born April 26, 1923 in New Philadelphia, Ohio to the late Elmer A. and Christina (McCaulley) Fox. He was a U.S. Army WWII veteran. Robert was retired from Babcock & Wilcox with 30 years of service and had also been employed by Ridge Electric. He was a member of North Industry United Methodist Church, Loyal Order of Moose Canton Lodge #233, Pike Grange and AARP. Preceded in death by his wife, Annie Fox; one son, Alex Fox; one brother, Elmer J. Fox. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Virgil Scott of Canton; one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Linda Fox of Dellroy; eight grandchildren, Nathan, Aaron, Bryce, Troy, Ty, Todd, Telly and Tana; 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 10:00 am in North Industry United Methodist Church, 155 Faircrest St. SW, Canton, OH. 44706, with Pastor Jeri K. Johnson officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 6 – 8 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
