Robert A. Foltz

Age 77, of East Canton, passed away Wednesday May 4, 2022 in his home. He was born October 29, 1944 in Canton to the late Clarence E. and Marie K. (Hoff) Foltz. Bob was a 1962 graduate of East Canton High School and had served in the U.S. Army Reserves for six years. He retired from the Hoover Company in 2004 after more than 28 years of service. Bob was a member of the NRA, several gun clubs, the Lowell D. Oberly American Legion Post #667, Stark County Farm Bureau and the Buckeye Corvette Club. He is preceded in death by his twin brother, William G. Foltz; brother-in-law, Duane Dourm. Bob is survived by his fiancé, Sue Welty; one sister, Betty Dourm; three nieces, Cathy (Rod) Miller, Lisa Foltz and Cindy (Bill) Hartenstein; several extended family members and many good friends. A private family burial will be in Liberty Cemetery, Minerva. Family and friends will be received Monday May 9, 2022 from 4-7pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton.
