Engel, Robert L. "Bob"
age 63, of East Sparta, passed away Tuesday March 3, 2009 in Mercy Medical Center. He was born, February 1, 1946 in Canton to the late Earl and Florence (Mulheim) Engel. Bob was a 1965 graduate of Canton South High School and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Canton. He retired from Brechbuhler Scales, Inc. in 2001 after 31 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Helen M. (Weaver) to whom he was married 37 years; one daughter, Lori M. Engel of Magnolia and her fiancé, Rusty Hummel of Magnolia; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Darla Engel of Massillon, Richard "Dick" and Barb Engel of Canton; two nieces and two nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will Friday, March 6, 2009 at 10:00am in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Benson Okpara as celebrant. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday 6-8pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church Memorial Fund at 1602 Market S., Canton, OH 44707.
