Robert Wayne Christen

Robert “Bob” Wayne Christen, age 69, of Canton Township died at Aultman Hospital on Saturday, February 1, 2025. He was born on May 4, 1955 in Canton, Ohio to the late Chauncey “Bud” and Christina Gaynell (Eddy) Christen. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School and spent a great deal of time traveling for his work as a field technician for electrical testing and maintenance. Bob was a wise traveler, and as a jack of all trades, he loved what he did.

Bob was a people-person by nature. Sociable and funny, he could always be counted on to lend a helping hand wherever he could. He extended his love to all his extended family, who were always invited to his home. Bob loved his “sons” and pets, Harley and Orion, who slept by his feet and rode in his truck. Bob was also a classic car enthusiast, restoring and rebuilding cars from top to bottom with his own two hands.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Alan Eddy.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Cindy Christen, sons, Daniel Christen, Richard (Kelli Coblentz) Christen, Gary Christen, sister, Lyn Christen, many nieces and nephews and a loving extended family.

Calling hours for Bob will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Kreighbaum Sanders Funeral Home, 4041 Cleveland Ave. S., Canton, OH 44707, from 5-7 pm. Per Bob’s wishes, no funeral service will be held.
