Robert J. Carr Sr.
Robert J. Carr Sr., age 62, of East Sparta, passed away Saturday December 29, 2007 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. He was born December 2, 1945 in Charleston, WV. He was a life resident of the East Sparta area and a Viet Nam Army veteran. Robert was employed by United Foundries Inc. for 35 years and was a member of the United Steel Workers Union, Local #3610. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Helen Moore; one brother, William B. Moore. He is survived by his wife, Beverly A. (Cole) to whom he was married 40 years; three children and their spouses, Robert J. and Kelly Carr Jr. of Canton, David S. and Jennifer Carr of Magnolia, Jennifer L. Carr of Magnolia; 11 grandchildren; three brothers, Don, Michael and Stephen Moore; five sisters, Sue Snook, Lee Ann Morris, Dorothy Fulton, Eva Van Zandt and Linda Bryant; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday January 3, 2008 at 1:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor Clifford Hughes officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery.
