Robert L. Burns Sr.
Age 76, of Canton, passed away Saturday June 20, 2015 in his home. He was born October 16, 1938 in Steubenville, OH to the late John Wilbert and Laura (Tucker) Burns. Bob was a member of Bible Believers Baptist Church. He retired from Local #6 Brick Layers Union, Canton. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his step-father, Galen Edwards; one brother, John "Jack" Burns. He is survived by his wife, Margie E. (Bennett) to whom he was married 60 years; three children and spouses, Galen and Doreen Burns, Teresa Knight, Robert and Pamela Burns Jr.; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Nancy Edwards, Betty (Donald) Steffee and Rose Auvil. Funeral services will be Thursday June 25, 2015 at 10:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor Arthur Martin officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery.
