Robert P. Braucher
Robert P. Braucher, age 82, of East Canton, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2008 in his daughter's home following an extended illness. He was born January 12, 1926 in Canton and was an East Canton area resident for the past 44 years. Robert was a WWII Navy veteran where he served aboard the U.S.S. Haven. He was the former owner/operator of B & M Service for 57 years and was formerly employed by Ray Brown Trucking and Ohio Car and Truck Leasing. He was instrumental in assisting his son at RB's Truck and Trailer Service in East Canton. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Matilda Marbot; his wife, Loreen E. Braucher in 2005, to whom he was married 50 years; a special cousin, Bob Aller. He is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Irene and James Sterling of Florida, Irene Cole-Good of Canton, Karen and Dan Clapper of East Canton; one son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Diana Braucher of Canton Township; nine grandchildren, James and Ray Cole, Katrina Fitzgerald, Carrie (George) Foradis, Angie (Matt) Capocci, E.J. Clapper, Marshall, Hailey and Merrideth Braucher; two great grandchildren, Samantha and Erin Foradis; and his dog, "Rocky". Funeral services will be Thursday March 13, 2008 at 10:00am in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Terry Bailey officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
