Robert Allen "Bob" Boggs
Age 71, of Canton, passed away Tuesday January 25, 2011 following an extended illness. He was born April 22, 1939 in Duffy, WV to the late Leonard and Thelma (Norman) Boggs. Bob retired from the City of Canton after 35 years of service. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his former wife, Patty Boggs; two sons, Kevin and Richard Boggs; four sisters, Kathleen Kiddy, Freda Elliott, Madelyon Carnett and Carolyn Cole; one brother, Leonard J. Boggs. He is survived by one son, Jeff Boggs; one daughter, Loretta Boggs; three grandchildren, Tiffany Stevens, Ashley Boggs and Trevor Clapper; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Emogene Smith and Linda Brenneman; five brothers, Jack, Jim, Kenny, Stanley and Darrell Boggs; numerous nieces and nephews. Bob enjoyed playing cards, camping, fishing and hunting. Bob had a big smile and a helping hand for everyone he met. He will be just away but never forgotten.
