Chaney, Rita M.
age 67, of Canton, passed away Thursday May 7, 2009 in her home following an extended illness. She was born February 3, 1942 in Canton to the late Victor and Lucy (Sanford) Paul. Rita was a life resident of the Canton area. She is survived by her husband, Stephen F. Chaney to whom she was married 50 years; six children and their spouses, Steve F. Chaney of Magnolia, David Chaney of East Sparta, Christine and Timothy Parr of Canton, Kenneth Chaney of Canton, Jeanette and Rick Bowser of Minerva, Jon Chaney of Akron; four grandchildren, Victoria, Erika, Jamie and Jackie; one brother, Joseph Paul; three sisters, Jeanette Panagos, Delores Haubert and Ruthie Schneider. Funeral services will be Monday, May 11, 2009 at 11:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Terry Bailey officiating. There are no other public services.
