Richard A. “Dick” Sharp

Age 59, passed away Friday April 20, 2018 in Aultman Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born August 19, 1958 in Canton, OH. Dick was the owner/operator of Masonry by Dick and was formerly employed by Duer Construction. Dick had an avid passion for coin collecting, guns and antiques. He would give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need. He is preceded in death by his father, Ernest G. Sharp Sr; one brother, Ernest G. “Ernie” Sharp Jr. Dick is survived by his wife, Denise J. (Linhart) to whom he was married 28 years; three children, Kristi (Josh) Saunier, Joshua (Melissa) Sharp and Danielle (Jason) Snyder; seven grandchildren; his mother and step-father, Nancy and Jim Rainsberger; one sister, Ruth Anne (Mike) Frank; two half-sisters, Susan (James) Birdwell and Angela (Jimmy) Barber. Funeral services will be Tuesday April 24, 2018 at 11:00am in Freeburg Church of the Brethren at 4470 Beechwood Ave NE, Paris, OH 44669 with Pastor Michael Zellers and Dave Seaman officiating. Friends will be received one hour before services on Tuesday at the church (10-11am).  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family.
