Richard E. Koller, age 70, of Canton, died Monday June 27, 2005 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Son of the late Walter and Mildred (Baker) Koller, and was a life resident of the Canton area. He was 1954 graduate of Lincoln High School and an Army Veteran. Richard was a very active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church where he helped with bingo for many years and assisted in various other fund raisers at the church. Member of Knights of Columbus Council #4733. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, John Koller; one sister, Mary Ann Kelly. Survived by his wife, Patricia A. (Tinlin) to whom he was married 41 years; one daughter and son-in-law, Maria and Russell White of Canton; one son, Christopher Koller of Las Vegas, NV; two grandchildren, Samantha White of Canton and Megan Koller of Louisville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Leo and Dorothy Koller of Canton, Thomas and Grace Koller of New Philadelphia; 5 sisters and brothers-in-law, Emmalou and Albert Sanders of Navarre, Margaret and Donald Scheufler of Canton, Rita and Donald Clapsaddle of N. Canton, Theresa and Duff Rex of Massillon, Rosemary and Rick Scott of Navarre. A mass of Christian burial will be Thursday, June 30, 2005 at 10:00 am in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Gerald Sommer MSC as celebrant. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday 5-8pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his name to St. Mary's Catholic Church at 1602 S. Market Ave, Canton, OH 44707.
