Richard L. Fecik
Richard L. Fecik, age 71, of Canton, went home to be with the Lord on Monday July 14, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born February 20, 1937 in Canton to the late George and Margaret Fecik. He was a life resident of the Canton area and was the owner/operator of Rich Electric and 5/91 Air Conditioning Service, working in Canton, Stark County and surrounding states. He was an avid golfer, car enthusiast, walking in the parks, trails and loved listening to the oldies. Richard served in the U.S. Air Force, following completion of his military service; he enjoyed flying with friends throughout Stark County. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by several aunts and uncles. He is survived by two sons, John Klabunde of Butler, WI, Richard Fecik of Louisville, OH; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Caley Gailey of Springfield, FL; one aunt, Mary Soltes of Pennsylvania; one niece, Alicia Carpenter of Canton; one cousin, Joyce Soltes of Pennsylvania; his beloved companion, Donna Hillman of Canton. Richard attended St. Michael's Catholic Church and was a good Christian, a thoughtful, loving and caring man who will be missed by all who knew him and loved him. A graveside service will be Wednesday July 16, 2008 at 2:00pm in Forest Hill Cemetery with Fr. James McKarns officiating. The Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
