Richard H. “Denk” Denkhaus
Age 88, of Canton died Saturday, June 17, 2017 in The Lodge at New Dawn following an extended illness. Born August 1, 1928 in Canton, OH. to the late Harold and Alice (Miller) Denkhaus. He was a life resident of Canton Township and a 1946 graduate of Canton Township High School. Denk retired from the Timken Company. He was a member of the Canton South AARP. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Helen C. (Heckerd) Denkhaus; three daughters and sons-in-law, Pam Courtney, Nancy and Nick Vona, Jane and Mark Eclem; three grandchildren, Steven Courtney, Julie Vona, Jason (Emily) Vona; one great grandson, Carson Vona. A private family service will take place, there will be no public services. Memorial donations may be made to the Stark County Humane Society.
