Rev. Ronald Lee Bryant
age 83, passed away Thursday October 19, 2017 at St. Luke Lutheran Community in North Canton, OH. He was born May 18, 1934 in Hanging Rock, OH to the late Clarence & Ethel (Justice) Bryant. Rev. Bryant served as a Minister of the United Methodist Church, East Ohio Conference from 1961- 2001. Ron served as Chaplain for the Stark County Firefighters Association for 27 years, Springfield Twp. Fire Department for 19 yrs. and Canton Twp. Fire Department for 20 years. He is survived by his daughter Rhonda (Tom) Brunn; four grandchildren, Jeremy (Jennifer) Brunn, Melissa Brunn, Holly Brunn and Ashton Brunn; two great-grandchildren, Alexis Brunn and Oliver Brunn; close family Larry (Diane) Jones; extended family, Bob (Marcia) Coen, Gary (Kim) Coen, Cathy Hart, and Steve Simich. A Memorial Service will be Saturday November 4, 2017, at 1:00pm in the North Industry Christian Church at 425 - 45th St. S.W. Canton, OH 44706, with Chaplain Rev. Bob Miller officiating. Friends will be received one hour before services at the church (12-1pm). In lieu of Flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Stark County Firefighter Association.
