Raymond V. Rebstock

Age 91, of Canton died Tuesday, February 8, 2022 in Aultman Compassionate Care Center following a brief illness. Born March 19, 1930 in Canton, Ohio to the late James and Minnie (Dieringer) Rebstock. He was a life resident of Canton and a 1948 graduate of Canton South High School. Ray was formerly employed by Joe Slaughter Men’s Wear for 30 years. He was a member of First Friends Church, Pike Grange #1669 since 1946, AARP and Aultman Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation Dept. since 1988 having attended over 4,000 sessions. Ray was an avid stamp and Mickey Mouse memorabilia collector, gardener and traveled extensively. Preceded in death by one brother, Howard Rebstock; three sisters, Doris Shaffer, Ruth Harsha, Regina Rebstock. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Paulette L. (Overdorf) Rebstock; many nieces and nephews. Paulette would like to give a special thanks to the many family, friends and the Aultman Compassionate Care Center staff for their support during this time. Funeral services will be Friday, Feb. 11, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. Interment in West Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday from 12:00 – 1:00 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Assoc. or First Friends Church of Canton.
