Raymond P. “Butch” Billman
Age 89, of East Canton, passed away Thursday October 27, 2016 in Altercare of Louisville. He was born February 28, 1927 in Waynesburg to the late Guideon and Ruth (Whyde) Billman. Ray served 11 years in the U.S. Army during both WWII and the Korean War and was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant. He was a life member of the VFW and DAV. Ray retired from Stark Container in 1974. He was a member of Paris Israel Lutheran Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Billman in 2010; two sons, Jeffrey and Raymond Billman; three brothers, Ronald, Harry and Lewis Billman; two sisters, Esther Shundry and Virginia Glass. He is survived by five children, Daniel Billman, Mark Billman, Lisa (Dave) Doney, Ronald Billman and Bryan Billman; 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Dorothy Predragovich, Clara Lidderdale and Norma Cole; one brother, Arthur Billman.
