Ramona M. Mayo
Age 84, of Canton died Wednesday, January 2, 2013 in Affinity Medical Center following a brief illness. Born October 18, 1928 in Ashmore, Dorset, England to the late Charles and Margorie (Uphille) Gray. She was a Canton resident since 1947 and a member of St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, Massillon. Ramona was an avid animal lover and kept beautiful English Gardens. Preceded in death by her husband, Maurice G. Mayo in 1999; two brothers, George and John Gray. She is survived by one son, Matthew Mayo of Canton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Edward Bemak of Cleveland, OH., Anna and Matthew Ryan of Belleville, IL; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Monday, January 7, 2013 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Sunset Hills Burial Park, 5001 Everhard Rd NW, Canton, OH. 44718, with The Rev. Henry G. Harris officiating. Memorial donations may be made to St. Timothy's Episcopal Church or the Stark County Humane Society.
