Ralph D. “Son” Winkleman
Age 83, of Canton died Saturday, June 4, 2016 in his daughters home following an extended illness. Born in North Industry, Ohio to the late Carl and Ann (Dine) Winkleman. He was a life resident of North Industry and a U.S. Army Korean War veteran. Ralph retired from Canton Drop Forge with over 40 years of service. Preceded in death by his wife, Helen M. Winkleman; four brothers; six sisters; one great grandson, Phoenix James Lee Winkleman. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, James and Gail Winkleman of Suffield, OH; five daughters and sons-in-law, Catherine and Bruce Hostetler of Navarre, Susan Leggett of Canton, Peggy and Chuck Renicker of Carrollton, Kim and Dennis Wagner of Waynesburg, Debra Winkleman of Canton; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 2 sisters; numerous nieces and nephews; two puppies, Pepe and Bear-Bear. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave with Pastor Mike Husted officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 pm.
