Ralph E. Smith
Age 81, of Louisville died Wednesday, April 6, 2016 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Born August 19, 1934 in East Canton, Ohio to the late F. Charles and Alice (Summers) Smith. He was a life resident of the East Canton/Louisville area and was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran. Ralph retired from Republic Steel. Preceded in death by his wife June M. Smith in 2008; one brother, Lorin Smith. He is survived by three sons, Ralph Jr, Douglas and Daniel Smith; two daughters, Diane Grape and Jenny Doebler; three step-sons, Blaine, Steve and Jerry Stewart; one step-daughter, Doris Stimmel; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Barb and Dave Chance. Funeral services will be Monday, April 11, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Brian Grubbs officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday from 10 – 11 am.
