Ralph N. Calhoun
Ralph N. Calhoun, age 87, of Canton, died Wednesday February 23, 2005 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. Son of the late Massie and Jennie (Johnson) Calhoun. He was a Canton area resident for the past 73 years, retiring from Diebold Company in 1980 after 44 years of service. He was a WWII Marine Corps veteran and a member of American Legion Post #440, North Industry and Caldwell Lodge #330 F.&A.M., Bolivar. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by one sister, Elma Cole. Survived by his wife of 65 years, Ruth E. (Linsenbigler); two daughters and sons-in-law, Judith and Dale Mottice of Canton, Jan and Russell Van Pelt of Richville; one son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Jenny Calhoun of St. Augustine, FL.; 4 grandchildren, Brian, Frank, Jenny and Jaysson; 4 great grandchildren, megan, Jordan, Bryan and Casey; one brother and sister-in-law, Glen and Betty Calhoun; one sister, Midge Handrich all of Canton; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave with Stephen Kimbrell officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Friday 6-8pm with masonic services at 5:45pm.
