age 66, of Canton, passed away Friday, March 6, 2009 in his home. He was born July 13, 1942 in Canton, OH. to Okey R. and Mattie E. (Freeman) Grossenbacher. Phillip was a Canton area resident most of his life and a Navy veteran. He was employed as a Pressman in the printing industry for many years. He was a member of Sandy Valley Eagles aerie # 3228, AMVETS Post #124 and the Magnolia Race Track. He is preceded in death by his father, Okey R. Grossenbacher. Survived by his wife, Sandra K. (McCoy) to whom he was married 41 years; three daughters and son-in-law, Timilynn Devore of Canton, Christy Grossenbacher and Dan Vance of Canton, Susan and Ryan Leeders of Canton; five grandchildren, Heather, Joey, Brandon, Paige and Taylor; his mother, Mattie Phillips of Bolivar; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice and Lehman Spradlin of Columbus, Linda Matheson of Massillon, Debra Vanckunas of Canton, Lisa and Chuck Lorey of Bolivar; numerous nieces and nephews; his canine companions, Daisy and Peanut. Funeral services will be Tuesday March 10, 2009 at 1:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor George Roberts officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
