Peggy B. Ritchey
Age 73, of East Canton died Thursday, May 8, 2014 in Mercy Medical Center. Born December 1, 1940 in Clarksburg, WV. to the late Blake James and Gertrude L. (Weaver) Lambert. She was a 1958 graduate of Malvern High School and had been a resident of East Canton since 1959. Peggy retired from Osnaburg Local Schools in 1992 after 10 years of service and had formerly been employed by Dr. David Edwards. She had attended Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by her husband, whom she was married to for 46 years, William C. Ritchey in 2005; two brothers, John and Kenny Lambert. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Monica and Randy Sheldon of Courtland, OH., Mary Ritchey and Pete Demos of Canal Fulton, Kimberly Ritchey of East Canton; two sons and daughter-in-law, William B. Ritchey of East Canton, Jeffrey Ritchey and Robin Ohler of Louisville; six grandchildren, Kayla, Kyle, Nigel, Jadynn, Kurtis and Cohen; three great grandchildren, De'Jah, Kyle Jr. and Aiden; two brothers and sister-in-law, Blake Lambert Jr. of North Canton, Jack and Linda Lambert of Colorado; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean and Paul Wyler of East Canton, Linda and Bones Walters of Elkins, WV., Beverly and Tom Mallow of Huntsville, WV; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday May 12, 2014 at 10:00 am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Rev. Carlina Snellenbeger officiating. Inurnment in Kountze Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.
