Pearl G. Fankhauser
Age 88, of East Canton, passed away Sunday January 9, 2011 in Altercare of Louisville. She was born February 18, 1922 in Birch Ridge, WV to the late Wylie and Rosa Bell (Gorby) Taylor. Pearl was an East Canton resident most of her life and a member of the Canton Baptist Temple for many years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Merle Fankhauser in 1996; one son, Lemoyne Fankhauser; two sisters, Hazel Taylor and Rhea Francis; three brothers, Raymond, Oscar and Ralph Taylor. She is survived by two sons, Eugene and Melvin Fankhauser both of East Canton; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Neva Keller, Freda Parsons and Letha Ruttman; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday January 13, 2011 at 10:00am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Delaney Young officiating. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
