Pearl A. Creighton
Pearl A. Creighton, age 91, of Waynesburg, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2005 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. She was born, March 23, 1914 in Canton, OH. to the late Otto and Grace (Miller) Thouvenin. Pearl was a life resident of the Canton and Waynesburg areas. Member of Indian Run Christian Church and was a 50 year member of Sponseller Grange. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Thouvenin. She is survived by her beloved husband, Albert M. Creighton to whom she was married 69 years; two daughters, Carolyn King and Cheryl Creighton both of Waynesburg; five grandchildren, Jean Reader, Joan Lightfritz, Sherry Steed, Bill Bateson and Lindsey Sifft; seven great grandchildren, Heather, Hailey, Steven, Cristie, Matthew, Monica and Nicholas; one great-great grandson; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Edna and George Dawson of North Canton, Mildred Baker of Wheat Ridge, CO.; good friends, Bob Bateson and George Mali. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. with Terry Bailey and Mark Black officiating. Interment in Sandy Valley Cemetery. Friends may call Friday 4-8pm and one hour before services on Saturday (10-11:00am). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Indian Run Christian Church at 7455 Hill Church, East Canton, OH 44730.
