Pearl R. Brooks
Age 72, of East Canton, passed away Wednesday January 13, 2010 in Green Meadows Health and Wellness. She was born January 12, 1938 in Sugarcreek, OH to the late Chester A. and Naomi (Glick) Ruth. Pearl was an East Canton resident most of her life and was a member of Maplebrook Church of God. She was formerly employed by Timken Mercy Hospital for 10 years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Jerry Ruth; step-mother, Amanda Ruth. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Steven P. and Debbie Brooks of Paris, OH; two daughters and a son-in-law, Susan and James Rohr of Massillon, Connie Krider of East Canton; six grandchildren, Dakota Rohr, Cara Campbell, Tonya Krider, Sandy Matthew, Andrew and Jennifer Brooks; two great-grandchildren, Landan Matthew and Gabriel Campbell; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Ed and Liz Ruth of Jackson Twp, John and Mary Ruth of Massillon, Chester and Wanda Ruth of Livonia, MI, Bill and Kathy Ruth of Salem, OR; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Brauch and Trudy Ruth; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday January 16, 2010 at 1:30pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Mike Tyree officiating. Internment in Mapleton Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services on Saturday (12:30-1:30pm). Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association at 1701 N. Beauregard St, Alexandria, VA 22311.
