Pauline E. "Polly" Bole
Pauline E. "Polly" Bole, age 82, of East Canton, passed away Tuesday November 28, 2006 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. She was born April 29, 1924 in East Canton to the late Ralph and Mabel (Lotz) Werley. Polly was a life resident of East Canton and a 1942 graduate of East Canton High School where she was a Cheerleader and the first Homecoming Queen. She was formerly employed by Attorney Lawrence Renner and then Attorney William Weisend for 50 years. Polly was a life member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, East Canton, where she was active in the Mary and Joseph Sunday School Class, Church Choir, and many other activities at the church. She was a member of the East Canton Civic Club, Card Club, honorary member of the East Canton Rotary Club which named her "Citizen of the Year" in 1988 and was East Canton Athletics "Number 1 Fan". In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Gary Bole; one brother, Emerson Werley. She is survived by her husband, Richard E. Bole to whom she was married 61 years; three daughters and a son-in-law, Cindy Evans of North Canton, Kathy Bole of East Canton, Becky and Steve Poole of East Canton; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Kate and Leo Douglas; one brother, Robert Werley all of East Canton. Funeral services will be Friday December 1, 2006 at 11:00am in St. Paul's United Church of Christ with Rev. Clark E. Kandel officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9pm in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton and one hour before services on Friday at the church (10-11am). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's U.C.C at 306 W. Church St, East Canton, OH 44730 or the East Canton Athletic Department at 310 Browning St., East Canton, OH 44730.
