Paul E. Williams, age 79, of East Canton died Thursday, July 7, 2005 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. Son of the late Ira and Lureli (Norris) Williams. He was an East Canton area resident for the past 63 years, retiring from Louisville Public Schools in 1988 after ten years of service. Member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and the JR. O.U.A.M., and was a World War II Marine Corps veteran. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by one son, David Williams, three brothers and three sisters. Survived by his wife, Mabel M. (Clapper) to whom he was married 63 years; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Jane Williams of Louisville, Steve and Beth Williams of East Canton; one daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Ron Burns of Louisville; nine grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 pm in St. Paul's United Church of Christ with Rev. Jenna Brown officiating. Friends may call two hours before services at the church on Saturday (12-2pm). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Paul's name to St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 306 West Church St, East Canton, Ohio 44730.
