Paul E. Teeter
Paul E. Teeter, age 75, of Mapleton died Saturday September 20, 2008 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. Born in Flintstone, Maryland on February 4, 1933 to the late Benjamin F. and Elsie (Messersmith) Teeter. He was a Mapleton resident since 1948 and retired from Republic Steel in 1980 after 29 years of service. Preceded in death by two brothers, Benjamin Theodore and Joseph J. Teeter. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Dorothy A. (Mottice) Teeter; two sons and daughter-in-law, Thomas Teeter of the home, Dennis and Belva Teeter of Canton; two brothers and sister-in-law, Frank and Allene Teeter, Olie Teeter all of Flintstone, Maryland; three sisters, Dorothy Sack and Mildred Cowan both of San Diego, CA; Mary Wise of Cumberland, Maryland; numerous nieces and nephews; two special canine companions, Spud and Spunky. Graveside services and interment will be Tuesday Sept. 23, 2008 at 11:00 am in Mapleton Cemetery with Pastor Ralph Norman officiating. Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton in charge of arrangements.
