Paul W. Pikulik
Age 81, of Canton died Saturday, November 7, 2009 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. Born January 6, 1928 in Malvern, OH. to the late Michael and Teresa Pikulik. He was a Canton area resident most of his life and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Paul was the owner/operator of Paul Pikulik Plumbing and Heating and was a retired teacher from Canton Local Schools in 1993 after 17 years of service. He was a member of Robersville Christ Memorial Church where he had served on the church board, mission committee and donated numerous hours with the building and maintenance of the church. Paul was a former Boy Scout Master where he received the District Award of Merit and former Hot Stove Baseball coach. He also was a former member of Canton South Band and Athletic Boosters, Canton Township Zoning Board and Fire Advisory Committee. Preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Evelyn L. (Clapper) Pikulik; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Kay and Frank Pershing of Canton, Kathi and Jeff Herberghs of Middlebranch; one son, Ronald Pikulik of Cincinnati; one grandson, Justin (Lindsay) Herberghs; two step granddaughters, Amanda Nash and Emilee Pershing; one great grandson, James Herberghs; one step great grandson, Grayson Nash; numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Martino, Dr. Grossman and Aultman Hospice. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 11:00 am in Robertsville Christ Memorial Church, 2620 Robertsville St. Robertsville, OH. 44670, with Rev. Jeffrey Lord officiating. Interment in Robertsville Cemetery. Friends may call on hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday from 10 i�½ 11 am. Memorial donations may be made to Robertsville Christ Memorial Church.
