Paul R. Peden
Age 89, formerly of North Canton, passed away Friday June 9, 2017 in Brewster Parke. He was born January 21, 1928 in East Sparta to the late Harry and Minerva (Morgan) Peden. Paul was a U.S. Army veteran and a resident of North Canton most of his life. He retired from the Diebold Company in 1988 and was formerly employed by The Hoover Company. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, North Canton and the Canton Hall of Fame Chorus. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty L. Peden in 2015 to whom he was married 63 years; two brothers, Gene and Harry Peden. Paul is survived by three children, Cathy (Bret) Acierno of Massillon, Larry Peden of Ravenna and Nancy (Patrick) Grubish of North Canton; four grandchildren, Ryan (Jamie) Grubish, Carrie (Steve) Markel, John (Kelsi) Acierno and Tony Acierno; six great-grandchildren, Samantha, Frances and Will Grubish, Jess and Carson Acierno, Sabastian Samblanet. Funeral services will be Monday June 12, 2017 at 1:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home, Canton with Pastor Becky Evanoff officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
