Paul Momirov
Paul Momirov, age 81, of Canton, died Tuesday in Aultman Hospital, following a brief illness. Born in Elwood City, PA, to the late Panta and Elizabeth (Theodore) Momirov. He was a Canton area resident most of his life, retiring from Republic Steel, Berger Division in 1985 after 40 years of service. Owner/Operator of Momirov Auto Body for many years. Member of Sponseller Grange for 41 years, D.A.V. Chapter #2345, Dellory Ruritans and Woodmen of the World Fraternity. He was a World War II Army veteran. Also preceded indeath by his wife, Grace Momirov in 2003 to whom he was married 54 years, two brothers, George and Carl Momirov, and one sister, Olga Snyder. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Tom Puch of Carrollton; three grandchildren, Erika, Alaina, and David Puch, all of Carrollton; one brother and sister-in-law, Martin and Lil Momirov of Canton; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday at 1 pm in the Myers-Kreighbaum- Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor James L. Snyder officiating. Interment in Mapleton Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services on Friday (12-1pm). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Paul Momirov Youth Fishing Fund, 390 Antigua Rd. SW, Carrollton, OH 44615.
