Paul L. Kramer
Age 85, of Dover, passed away Monday September 9, 2013 following a brief illness. He was born May 7, 1928 in Canton to the late Marcel and Adeline Kramer. Paul was a 1946 graduate of Timken Vocational High School. He retired from the Eaton Corporation in Massillon, formerly employed by Atlas Engineering in Akron, Ramco Specialties in Cuyahoga Falls and farmed for many years in the Zoar area. He was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity, Zoar. Paul was a lifetime Ohio State football and Cleveland Indians fan. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers, Robert, Wilbur, Albert and Raymond Kramer; one sister, Virginia Hare. He is survived by his wife, Florence (Schaar) to whom he was married 63 years; four children and their spouses, Barbara and Kurt Lowdermilk of Fremont, MI, Ronald Kramer of Voorhees, NJ, Daniel and Marilyn Kramer of Bolivar, Michelle Kramer and Keith Crawford of Lone Tree, Co; three grandsons, Ryan Kramer of Marysville, OH, Corey (Stacie) Kramer of Bolivar, Wesley (Melissa) Lowdermilk of Scottsdale, AZ; four granddaughters, Wendy (Aaron) Larvick of Lansing, MI, Elizabeth (Brian) Goodman of Cleveland, Megan Kramer of Schenectady, NY and Allison Kramer of Tulsa, OK; six great-grandchildren, Sophia and Henry Larvick, Cameron Kramer, Carly Kramer, Jacob Arrendale and Valen Kramer; sister, Mildred Hare; numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday September 13, 2013 at 10:00am in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Canton with Fr. Benson Okpara as celebrant. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday 6-8pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
