Paul F. “Jeff” Jeffers
Age 82, of Canton died Tuesday, November 21, 2017 in Mercy Medical Center following an extended illness. Born March 6, 1935 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Paul W. and Pearl M. (Chambers) Jeffers. He retired from Republic Steel with 34 years of service. Paul greatly enjoyed farming for many years. He was a member of Grace Fellowship Church where he served on the food bank committee. Preceded in death by four sisters, Jean, Betty, Shirley and Mildred; two brothers, Mansel and Stanley; two grandchildren, Brittany and Harley. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Goldie (Parsons) Jeffers; three children and daughter-in-law, Jeffery and Brenda Jeffers, Glenn Jeffers and companion, Tanya, Belinda Adkins; seven grandchildren, Joey, Jason, Jeffery (Shelby), Courtney, Emily, Kassidy and Austin; one great granddaughter, Alivia; three brothers, Lowell, Carroll and Marlin (Patricia) Jeffers; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday, Nov. 27, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave with Pastor Keith Stephens officiating. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Friends will be received Sunday from 1 – 3 pm.
