Paul E. Hanenkrat
Paul E. Hanenkrat, age 79, of Louisville died February 6, 2008 unexpectedly in his home. Born December 27, 1928 in Strasburg, OH. to the late Ray and Violette (Reiger) Hanenkrat. He was a Louisville area resident since 1969 and a 1946 graduate of McKinley High School. He was a Korean War Army veteran. Paul retired from the Nusley Piano School and had previously served as the organist for Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, Westminster Presbyterian Church and the past 17 years for John Knox Presbyterian Church. He was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church where he also was involved with the Joyful Ringers Bell Choir and the genealogy group. Paul also was a member of the Louisville Community Choir. Preceded in death by one brother, Carl Hanenkrat; one sister, Doris (Hanenkrat) Unklesby. Survived by six nephews, Russ Hanenkrat of Fly, OH, Mark Hanenkrat of Virginia Beach, VA, Kurt Hanenkrat of East Canton, Mike Unklesby of Massillon, Brian Unklesby of Beach City, Dennis Unklesby of Massillon; ten great nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 11:00 am in John Knox Presbyterian Church, 5155 Eastlake St. N.W., N. Canton, OH. 44720, with Rev. Douglas A. Patton officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to John Knox Presbyterian Church. Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton in charge of arrangements.
