Paul W."Bill" DeHoff
Age 83, of East Canton died Thursday, February 16, 2012 in Mercy Medical Center following a brief illness. Born February 4, 1929 in East Canton to the late Harley and Maxine (Ringer) DeHoff. He was a life resident of East Canton and a 1948 graduate of East Canton High School. Bill was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran. He retired from Osnaburg Local Schools and had formerly been employed by Macomber Company for 29 years. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ. Preceded in death by four brothers, Melvin, Ralph, Clarence and Harley Jr. DeHoff. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Dolores M. (Stoetzer) DeHoff; three daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and John Heppner of Columbus, Carol and Dale Freitag of Louisville, Jane and Kirt Johnson of Louisville; one son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Tina DeHoff of Louisville; seven grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday, Feb. 20, 2012 at 10:00 am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Rev. James Painting officiating. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 pm. Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's United Church of Christ.
