Paul Bracken
Paul Bracken, age 88, of Massillon, died five days before his 89th birthday on Tuesday in Shady Lawn Health Care following an extended illness. Son of the late Paul E. and Goldie (Daniels) Bracken. He was a life resident of the Canton and Massillon areas, retiring from Wheeling-Lake Erie & Nickel Plate Railroad. Also a retired truck driver. Member of Teamsters Local #92, Emmanuel Christian Church, C.C.N.S. and Teamsters Retirees. A World War II Marine Corp Veteran. Also preceded in death by his wife, Athene, in 1986; two sisters, Twila Reed and Betty Neumiller. Survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and David Froelich of North Canton, Cynthia and Timothy Render of Canton, Rebecca and Timothy Baum of Dalton; three sons and daughters-in-law, Paul Richard and Sue Bracken of Massillon, James E. and Paula Bracken of Massillon, William E. and Linda Bracken of Greenville, SC; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Esther Shields of East Sparta, Margaret Dare of Morrow, OH and Mrs. Don (Audrey) Kirkpatrick of Carrollton; seven brothers, Harold, Kenneth, Harry, James and Robert Bracken all of Canton, Orland Bracken of Barberton, Howard Bracken of Massillon. Services will be Saturday at 10 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Rev. Timothy J. Hull officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
