Patrick M. Valentine
Age 60, of East Sparta, passed away Thursday August 27, 2015 in Community Hospice following a brief battle with cancer. He was born October 21, 1954 in Canton, to the late John and Helen (Murphy) Valentine. Patrick was a 1972 graduate of Canton South High School and a life resident of the Stark County area. He retired from The Timken Company in 2001 after 30 years of service. Patrick was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles aerie #2370, an avid outdoorsman, enjoying both hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, Patrick is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Karen L. Valentine of 42 years who passed away earlier this summer; He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jason and April Valentine of Memphis, TN; one daughter, Miranda Valentine of Canton; four grandchildren, Tatum, Kaleb, Nevelyn and Annalia Valentine; one great-granddaughter, Mia Solima; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dr. Lynn Valentine and Dr. David Heilbronner and their daughters, Alexandra and Elizabeth Valentine Heilbronner; Terri and Steve Gursky and their children, Luke, Andrew and Rachel Gursky. The family would like to thank Community Hospice for their compassionate and wonderful care for Patrick and Karen.
