Patricia A. Wilson

Age 77, of Canton, passed away Wednesday April 25, 2018 in her home following a brief illness. Pat was born January 23, 1941 in Canton to the late Elmer and Mary (Shoff) Clark. She was a 1958 graduate of McKinley High School and retired from Bank One in 2000 after 41 years of service. She was the only manager of the East Canton bank office which she opened and closed with her retirement. Pat was a member of the North Industry United Methodist Church where she served on numerous committees and was the chair of the finance for many years. She was a charter member of East Canton Rotary serving as treasurer and honored as East Canton Citizen of the Year. She volunteered at Clearview Golf Course and organized The Clearview Ladies on the Links Golf League. Pat also was a volunteer for Junior Achievement. She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter S. Wilson Sr. to whom she was married 57 years. Pat is survived by three children, Denise Ley, Walter S. Wilson Jr. and Belinda (Jeffrey) Cipriano; five grandchildren, Kelsey Wilson, Kayla Ley, Dillon, Samuel and Abigail Cipriano; one great-grandchild, Avery Schie; one sister, Penny Clark.  A memorial service will be Saturday, May 5th 12:00 noon at North Industry United Methodist Church with Pastor Jeri K. Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service (11-12pm).
