Patricia A. May
Age 84, of Canton, passed away Tuesday December 18, 2012 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. She was born December 13, 1928 in Akron, OH to the late Joseph and Mary (Oviatt) McRae. She was a graduate of Buchtel High School, Akron and was a Canton area resident for the past 37 years. Patricia was a member of North Industry United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Claude A. May Jr. in 2009; one brother, Robert McRae; one niece, Julie Roberts. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Claudia and Daniel Bruening of Coshocton, OH, Cynthia and Robert Smith of Navarre; one son, Ronald E. May of Canton; three grandchildren, Michele Fortune, John E. Thompson and Stephanie Smith; two step-grandchildren, Heather Ferguson and Hillary Foster; three great grandchildren, Alexandria, Samantha and John Thompson, Olivia and Evan Ferguson; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be Saturday December 22, 2012 at 11:00am in the North Industry United Methodist Church with Rev. Jeri K. Johnson officiating.
