Pastor Jeffrey M. Ellsworth
Age 59, of North Canton, passed away Wednesday July 8, 2015 in Mercy Medical Center following a courageous battle with cancer. Jeffrey was born April 10, 1956 in Massillon, OH to Edgar and Marian (Ristle) Ellsworth. He was a graduate of Hoover High School and Kent State University. Jeffrey was currently serving as pastor for Eden Church of the Brethren and also employed by Michael's Arts and Crafts as the frame shop manager. He is preceded in death by his father, Edgar Ellsworth. He is survived his wife, Patricia A. (Snyder) with whom he would celebrated 35 years of marriage in August; two daughters, Christa Ellsworth of Irvine, CA and Meghan Ellsworth of Las Angeles, CA; his mother, Marian Ellsworth of North Canton; two brothers, Scott (Linda) Ellsworth and Gary (Sandy) Ellsworth; one sister, Lei (Alan) Fahrner; several nieces, nephews and his beloved dog, "Teddy". The family would like to thank Tri County Hematology and Oncology, Mercy Medical 8th floor nurses and Mercy Hospice for their wonderful and compassionate care. Funeral services will be Saturday July 11, 2015 at 11:00am in Eden Church of the Brethren at 4437 Richville Dr SW, Canton, OH 44706 with Pastor Bruce Jacobsen officiating. Burial will be in Eden Cemetery. Friends will be received Friday (tonight) 5-8pm in the church and one hour before services on Saturday (10-11am).
