Oulga Eugenia "Jean" Comer, age 82, of Canton passed away May 3, 2004, in Aultman Hospital. Born June 5, 1921, in Richmond, VA, to the late James and Pearly (Lane) Beaver and spent most of her life in the Akron area. Jean was a devoted wife and mother of three. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, flowers and spending time with family. Preceded in death by her husband, Rudy Comer, May 26, 2001, to whom she was married 56 years; two sisters, Pauline Russell and Mary Mackey. Survived by three sons, Randall Comer and fiancee, Jan Jovingo of Becksville, OH, Ronnie Comer of Akron, OH, and Rodney (Shannon) Comer of Canton, OH; grandchildren, Rudy and Durell comer of Brecksville, OH, Trey Taylor, Jacob and Cheyenne Comer, all of Canton, OH; one sister, Menalie Ebersole of Claysberg, PA; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on Cleveland Avenue S. There will be no other services.
