Orland Dale Bracken
Orland Dale Bracken, age 86, of Uniontown, died Tuesday, November 22, 2005 in Massillon Community Hospital. He was born, March 8, 1919 in Canton to the late Paul and Goldie (Daniels) Bracken. Orland was a Canton resident most of his life and had resided in Baltimore, MD for 40 years. He was a WWII Army veteran and retired from Harris Steel in 1986 after 27 years of service. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Margaret Paul of Massillon, Sandra and Larry Herschberger of Massillon; one son and daughter-in-law, Orland and Pat Bracken of Seattle, WA; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; three sisters; five brothers; numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Friday at 10:00am in the chapel at Forest Hill Cemetery, with Dr. Chester Harris officiating. The family requests that no flowers be sent.
