Olin F. Lockhart
Age 88, of East Sparta, passed away Saturday August 23, 2014 in Community Hospice House. He was born April 17, 1926 in Wirt County, WV to the late Eliza and Blanche (Williams) Lockhart. Olin was an East Sparta resident for the past 51 years and retired from Wilson Rubber after 33 years of service. He was a member of the Canton Baptist Temple where he had served as an usher and bus driver for the Jolly Sixties. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Rick Lockhart; one granddaughter, Jennifer Indorf; two sisters and four brothers. He is survived by his wife, Letha F. (Jenkins) to whom he was married 66 years; seven children and their spouses, Okey Lockhart, Larry and Donna Lockhart, Sharon and Dale Steiner, Mary Indorf, Gary Lockhart, Dale Lockhart, Mitchell and Michele Lockhart; 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters. Funeral services will be Wednesday August 27, 2014 at 1:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Delaney Young officiating. Burial will be in Eden Cemetery.
