Olin Keith Griffin
This Thanksgiving, our family is most thankful that Olin Keith Griffin started his eternal life with Jesus Christ. Keith, age 55, of East Canton, passed away Thursday November 23, 2017 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 21, 1962 in Canton to Olin and Mary (McMuleen) Griffin. Keith was a 1980 graduate of East Canton High School and was employed by Koch Knight Industries. He was a member of Hope Life Church and was formerly very active with the East Canton girls’ softball program where had served as president and board member. Keith is preceded in death by his father, Olin Griffin; father-in-law, Jack Loy. He is survived by his wife, Tricia E. (Loy) to whom he was married 34 years; four daughters, Hannah Griffin, Hayley Griffin (Jason Gatts), Hope (Jeremy) Richards and Hillary (Ben) White; seven grandchildren, Taylor, Kloey, Rylee, Kamry, Harper, Timothy and Rex; his mother, Mary Griffin; one brother, Jeff (Julie) Griffin; two sisters, Julie Griffin-Modany and Lisa Griffin; numerous nieces, nephews and good friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Crossroads Hospice and nurse Melissa. Funeral services will be Monday November 27, 2017 at 10:00am in Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church with Pastor Chet Carl officiating. Burial will be in Mapleton Cemetery. Friends and family will be received Sunday 3-6 pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton.
