Olie H. Moyer
Age 97, of Canton was promoted to glory Tuesday, October 27, 2015 in Aultman Compassionate Care Center. Born June 24, 1918 in Circleville, WV. to the late Harry and Lura (Bennett) Moyer. He was a Canton area resident since 1946 and a WWII U.S. Army veteran. Olie retired from Summitville Tile in Minerva in 1980 after 31 years of service. Preceded in death by his wife, Fay J. Moyer in 2003; one daughter, Connie McCaffree; five brothers and two sisters. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Olie H. Jr. and Diana Moyer of North Canton; one daughter and son-in-law, Melody and David Clark of Canton; three grandsons, Kevin H. (Michelle) McCaffree, Joshua and Caleb Clark; three great grandchildren, Erina, Luke and Eli McCaffree; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, Oct 30, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Bill Hale officiating. Interment in Warstler Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday from 1:00 – 2:00 pm.
