Odane V. Brittsan
Age 100, of Navarre died Monday, March 16, 2015 in St. Luke Lutheran Community. Born October 25, 1914 in Canton, Ohio to the late Pearl and Vinnie (Gregory) Burnside. She was a life resident of the Canton/Navarre area and was a 1932 graduate of Canton McKinley High School. Odane was formerly employed by Knicker-Baucher Storage in Akron. Preceded in death by her husband, James W. Brittsan in 2002; one son, Larry Brittsan; two sisters, Ione Schmaltz and Lois Schmaltz. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, James and Donna Brittsan of Sanford, FL; four grandchildren, Becky Brittsan of Kent, Mike (Lois) Brittsan of Columbus, Terri Atkinson of Stow, Vicki (Mark) Atkinson of Kent; six great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
