Norman C. Davis
Age 92, of Canton died Friday, April 16, 2010 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Canton on November 23, 1917 to the late Frank and Elizabeth (Lippert) Davis. He was a life resident of Canton. Norman retired from the Canton City Fire Department in 1974 after 35 years of service and had formerly been employed by the Timken family as a houseman for many years. He was a member of the Canton YMCA for 75 years, attaining the distinction of being a member for the longest period of time. Preceded in death by his wife, Ann Davis; one son, Scott Davis; two brothers, Don and Fred Davis. He is survived by two daughters, Jeanette Davis of Canton, with whom he lived for the past 10 years, Joan Clark of Shreve, OH; one son, Richard Davis of Walnut Creek, CA; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
