Norman G. Covell, age 75, of Canton, died Friday, February 4, 2005 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. Son of the late Mehrl and Marian (Boerngen) Covell. He was a life resident of the Canton area and attended First Church of the Nazarene of Canton. Norman retired from Canton City Schools in 1991 after 25 years of service, formerly employed by Republic Steel, Berger Division, and was a Army veteran. Survived by his wife, Glenna C. (Heaston) Covell; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard Covell of California, Ronald and Freda Covell of West Virginia, Larry and Janet Covell of Massillon; 11 nieces and nephews; a special friend, Frederick Meacham. Funeral services will be Monday at 1:00pm in First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. John Stallings officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Sunday 2-4pm in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton and one hour before services on Monday at the church (12:00-1:00pm)
