Noel W. Anderson
Age 77, of Navarre died Thursday, July 28, 2011 in his home following a brief illness. Born December 3, 1933 in Paden City, WVa. To the late Harry D. and Modjeska Mae (Smittle) Anderson. He was a Navarre resident for the past 57 years and a U.S. Navy Korean War veteran. Noel retired from the Ford Motor Company in 1998 after 18 years of service. He was an avid Walleye fisherman and was a member of the Navarre VFW Post #5047. Preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy E. Anderson in 2010 and one sister, Sondra Flocker. Survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Cristy Anderson of Brewster; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cinda and Keith Welsch of Sanford, NC., Melissa and Jeffrey Richards of Brewster; six grandchildren, Derek, Modjeska, Seth, Corey, Taylor and Molly; four great grandchildren, Paige, Cheyenne, Jordan and Jazmine; three brothers and sister-in-law, Gary and Gerry Anderson of Massillon, Clark Anderson of E. Sparta, Harry "Dee" Anderson of Canton; two sisters and brother-in-law, Jan Hand of Florida, Cheryl and Tom Bruno of E. Sparta; one sister-in-law, Rose Anderson of Canton; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 4:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Rannie Cox officiating. Inurnment in East Union Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Saturday from 2-4 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the Navarre VFW Post #5047, 6680 Woodland Hills Ave. SW., Navarre, OH. 44662.
