Nelson E. Sellers, age 77 of East Canton, died Friday in Aultman Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. Son of the late Robert and Mae (Myers) Sellers. He was an East Canton area resident for the past 30 years and was a self-employed carpenter most of his life. Member of East Canton Church of God, Minerva Eagles and the VFW. Nelson was a WWII Army veteran and was a very loving and caring man who loved life and lived it to the fullest. Also preceded in death by two brothers, James and William Sellers. Survived by his wife, Nancy D. (Eakin) to whom he was married 32 years; one daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Chris Hector of Mission Viejo, CA; two sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Judy Sellers of Oxnard, CA, Robert and Luz Sellers of Santa Ana, CA; 11 grandchildren; three great granddaughters; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Annabelle Lowe of Waynesburg, Marietta and Donald Jones of San Antonio, TX, Joan Serafini of N. Canton; a special niece and nephew, Bessie and Ricky Crawford who gave of their time and love which Nelson truly enjoyed; many other loving nieces, nephews, family members and a host of friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:00am in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton, with Pastor James L. Snyder officiating. Interment in Mapleton Cemetery.
